In combat with COVID-19 – you can’t kill the virus

Only a living thing, which is born, dies; and corona-viruses are not living organisms. COVID-19 is a protein molecule (DNA) covered by a protective layer of lipid (fat), which, absorbed by the cells of the ocular, nasal or buccal mucosa, changes their genetic code (mutation), and converts them into aggressor and multiplier cells.

As the COVID-19 virus is not a living organism, but simply a protein or a molecule, it decays on its own. The virus is extremely fragile; it has a thin protective layer of fat. Because the foam in the soap CUTS the FAT, washing hands frequently is the best remedy against the virus. When the soap dissolves the layer of fat, the COVID-19 protein molecule disperses and breaks down.

COVID-19 can get drunk on alcohol and may get purged. Alcohol at concentrations over 65%-75% will also break down the fat around the external lipid layer around COVID-19 virus and render it inactive.

The reference is to alcohol or rubbing alcohol and not your favourite Indian distilled spirits such as whisky, rum, and gins none of which, as per regulations, have more than 45.5% alcohol. Do not get mistaken by the alcohol ratings on the labels marked as degree-proof - because 100 degrees proof is the equivalent of 50 % alcohol by volume - twice the percentage of alcohol concentration by volume is reported as degree-proof – thus no Indian distilled spirits are over 91 degree-proof).  Feel free to try one of your imported bottles, if they are 150 degree-proof or higher.

Disintegrate COVID-19 virus with heat, soap, bleach and patience. In combat, it can kill you but you can’t kill it.
