High-Thinking, High-Society

Besides some skilled and plenty of unskilled workers, what has India given to the world in the last 100-125 years?

On the other hand, the West, especially Europe, has given a lot to the world in the last century. The West has given us two world wars, socialism, communism, fascism and Nazism besides the most significant - racism - the Holocaust as its perfect example; and the world got terrorism in return.

It is no wonder that "civilized, elite, noble, liberal, progressive, secularist, educated civil society" seeks and advocates that India should be like West or Europe.

ऊंची सोच, ऊंचे लोग

पिछले सौ-सवा सौ वर्षों में, भारत ने, शिक्षित और अशिक्षित श्रमिकों के अतिरिक्त विश्व को क्या दिया है?

इसके विपरीत पश्चिम ने, विशेषकर यूरोप ने, पिछली शताब्दी में दुनिया को बहुत कुछ दिया है। पश्चिम ने हमें दो विश्व युद्ध, समाजवाद, साम्यवाद, फासिस्टवाद, नाज़ीवाद और नस्लवाद को परिपूर्ण करने के लिए उदाहरण के रूप में होलोकॉस्ट दिया है; और प्रतिफल में दुनिया को आतंकवाद मिला है।

कोई आश्चर्य नहीं कि “सभ्य, संभ्रांत, कुलीन, उदारचरित, प्रगतिशील, धर्मनिरपेक्षतावादी, शिक्षित नागरिक समाज” चाहता है और वकालत करता है कि भारत को पश्चिम जैसा या यूरोप जैसा होना चाहिए।
